I just wanted to say we are thinking of you during this stressful time. I guess the MDT meeting was today and I hope that you get an appointment soon to find out exactly what is going on. It's completely normal to be scared when dealing with all this uncertainty at the moment and after having been through all these tests. 

Let us know what you find out - you are not alone though and many members of our community have been through this before and will hopefully come and say hello soon and share their stories with you. While you are waiting, as there is nothing harder than waiting for a diagnosis, I thought I would share with you our helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for news.

Hi iv got mri scan and ct scan on Thursday, I have been a bit fed up even though my last tablets are end of the week I'm really struggling to get them down , how's your daughter getting on ? Hope you had a nice rest away xx

Sorry to hear you’re not feeling great.  I can’t imagine what you must be going through even though it’s happening with my daughter she has coped do much better this time.  Was the right thing to do lower the dose.  I thought your scans were today.  Had an amazing time a laugh with the girls.  Just what I needed.  I will check in with you on Thursday.  Take care lots of love xx

Oh that's really good news , anything that's helps is good , yeah Thursday at 5 pm and 5.25 , imagine will be 2 wks for results ..im so glad you had a good time just what you needed, thankyou lots of love to you too xx

Hi I'm buzzing this morn to have finished tablets so that's chemo done ..hopefully that's it , scans went ok ct and mri , I assume I get letter to sew consultant with results and next step, how are you and your daughter? Xx

So pleased for you must be such a relief to know part one is done.  My daughter is ok next round of chemo next Wednesday so number 4 will be done, just 2 then to go.  Her hair is thinning, did you experience that? Xx

My hair is a weird one I don't know what's going off with it ! But that was before the cancer! It was growing at one side everyone is baffled with it , I've been for it cut today had quite a bit cut off and it's def alot thiner than it was , but I can't put it down to the treatment xx

Ok my daughter has gone to a shorter Bob style, she has my genes thick hair.  Her hair has definitely thinned out.  You can now relax and think about Christmas with your family xx

Yeah I've always had long thicker hair , I asked the doctor when I got first diagnosed if my hair thinning could be the onset of cancer like a trauma type thing but they said no ..so I really don't know, but the chemo I had I wasn't supposed to lose hair but it does say can cause thinning , yeah I'm going to try chill now , i will let you know when I get appt for results , let me know how your daughter gets on with the next chemo ..lots of love xx

Morning yeah it's the waiting again for results and next step ...consultant is ringing me at 11 but its just the usual phone call to see how I'm doing , il ask if any date yet for results xx

Consultant rang me me with my results its all positive the chemo worked well and it's shrunk well ..so il get a letter now with date for surgery xx

Good morning how are you and your daughter doing? My appt got changed to tomorrow at 10.30, im really anxious now as I know I can't put the stoma out of my mind anymore , I've tried to forget about it and noone spoke to me about it so I'm just googling and getting myself down about it , see what tomorrow brings...same as usual no choice sending love xxx

Morning yes we are ok.  My daughter has no chemo now till the 27 December.  Yes I understand you being anxious I am also about the stoma bag, scares me ti be honest.  Please let me know how things go xx
