The waiting is the hardest. Easy to say not to worry when you’re on a rollercoaster of emotions/thoughts/scenarios. However you’ve done the right thing getting checked so give yourself a pat on the back for that. 
try to keep distracted with positives, you can’t change much until your appointment. Do you have support?
