Hi i was at work when I started bleeding it was like a haemorrhage it felt like your waters breaking when you go into labour I was absolutely covered and it ran down my legs I haven’t had a period for 14 years so this was not only painful to the extent that I nearly collapsed  but also very unexpected I contacted my doctor and she has fast tracked me for an internal exam now although I only bled very heavy for six days I am continually spotting it’s been ten days now I’m feeling very tired and my back is very sore I haven’t had a smear test for 7 years as got diagnosed with vaginal atrophy ( no stretch within the vagina ) so this test is worrying me almost as much as them finding cancer my doctor has warned me that it might be painful because of this sorry if this is going on a bit but I am quite scared and was hoping for a bit of reassurance really thanks to anyone who replies x
