Waiting Biopsy results

Hi everyone

Very new to this site.. it's currently 4:42am and im laid in bed with my mind racing. 

I had a sharp burning pain a few week ago coming from my upper outer breast area which made me have a feel around.. i found a lump straight away from the same area. I went to my GP as soon as i got back from my Holiday and got reffered for 2 week wait. I went to my appointment yesterday and i had ultrasound test to which then turned into a mammagram and biopsy.. she did two areas where the lump is and just abover under my armpit.

I then saw the consultant who was not positive at all and told me to start thinking of the worse.

Im 33 years old with a 2 year old and not handling it very good at all. Please can someone talk to me.. give me positive stories or breast cancer.

Or did this similar situation ever happen to anyone before and the results turned out benign? Im thinking of my daughter more than anything, she needs her mummy.

    Waiting on results from a week ago,go in today to find out.

    Have breast lump.Had mammogram, ultrasound and biopsies. 

    Consultant said its "presenting "as cancerous. So those words have been dancing round my mind for a week.

    The waiting has to be the worst part.

    I just want to know either way so I can get on with it.

    I have a 9yr old daughter. She needs me.

    Will read on to see how you get on.

    Think of you Vamp. I agree you just need to to know now and get a plan in place if it is that news. Certainty have a plan helped me. X

    I have been today was all very positive. They said its treatable/curable its early and im having 6 lots of chemo. Once every 3 week then a possible lumpectomy and then some radiotherapy afterwards. Had bloods today and i need a heart scan before the chemotherapy. I feel a weight been lifted.. there is light at of that tunnel x

    That's really good news. I'm so pleased that you are feeling relieved. Fingers crossed this is started quickly.  Keep us posted on how you get on. Keep focused and positive. Big virtual hugs. X

    It’s so good that the weight has been lifted for you and you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I always think you can deal with what you know, you can’t deal with what you don’t know, 

    sounds like they have a good plan for progress. Hoping you sleep well tonight ready to face each hurdle as it comes xx
