Discovering a lump in your breast can be rather alarming and you did the right thing in going to your GP on Monday to get it checked out. It's good that things are moving fast though and that you will be seen so quickly. 

Our website has useful information on your referral to the breast clinic and Breast Cancer Now also have detailed advice on what happens at a breast clinic appointment. If you have any questions or wanted to ask our nurses about your particular situation having implants and a breast lump, there is a free helpline you can call on 0808 800 4040 - you can talk to one of our cancer nurses Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. 

We've had members in the past who also had implants and a lump and who were also waiting to be seen at the breast clinic. Cooper1974 posted four years ago so they may no longer be active on the forum but have a look at their Breast Implants thread and feel free to respond if you would like to do so. A couple of years ago, Peachy1 posted this thread with the title 'Breast Lumps with Implants' and was also anxiously waiting to be seen. I hope that you will hear from others who have been in a similar place as you before and that they will be along shortly to share their experience with you.
