I'm sorry to hear that you have had these unpleasant symptoms for such a long time. The main thing is that you are now seeing a specialist. Waiting for a definite diagnosis is always a difficult time so it helps to have other people to talk to but nobody on here can diagnose you. Hopefully it won't be much longer till you get some answers and begin any treatment. It sounds as if the doctors are suggesting it could be something other than cancer so try to avoid spending time on cancer websites and forums and don't overthink things.

Hi Stepee I just wanted to pop on and say that with all the symptoms I had ( chronic diarrhea positive fit test weight loss and positive ca125 test ) I had a Colonoscopy mine was Diverticulitis and a couple of other not serious stuff  I feared the worst but then so relieved afterwards .

A couple of doctors have recently suggested diverticulitis to me on 2-3 seperate occasions 

Yes this was around 18 months ago and I've recently had it again and had to have antibiotics for it ,hopefully the Doctor is right on your case .

Honestly when I get these attacks it’s proper painful and discomfort for days later. Then they just go and it subsides, I pass blood quite a bit for a couple of weeks and it’s stops completely and all goes back to normal. Am ok at the minute but it always returns, got my colonoscopy next week strangely am looking forward to getting some answers no matter what the outcome
