I'm sorry to hear that you've had some health concerns recently and that following your appointment with the specialist you're now waiting for further tests. It's positive to hear that your appointments to date haven't given any immediate cause for concern but it's understandable that you're still feeling anxious about things. 

It's not uncommon for additional scans and tests to be requested following an initial finding. This often gives the specialists access to more information to help them make a full diagnosis of the problem but we do know that waiting for tests can be a worrying time. 

You may find it helpful to talk through some of your concerns with your GP or perhaps with one of our team of nurses. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information, and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040 (excluding bank holidays).
