I'm not sure if everyone gets a face to face follow up. I had a MRI last year and got the results via letter. This year I had another MRI in April and this time I had a face to face because of an increase in the size from 5mm to 7mm. So now different tests to find out if it is or isn't Cancer.

It seems that things are different in different health boards. In Wales, I have family who have had MRI scans recently.  One received a telephone call, another was asked to go to the hospital for a video call from another consultant out of the area. I am in Scotland and have had letter/phone call and face to face result given.

So, it seems varied across the UK and health boards.

Always a good option to request cancellation appt...problem is,  people are waiting so long they seldom cancel unless it's unavoidable..hope you don't have too long to wait 

Luckily not. It's 2 weeks today. She did say sometimes they have the off last min cancellation but 2 weeks isn't long now anyway thankfully.
