Just wondering whether I should be concerned given that I have already had a normal colonoscopy (with biopsies) in December 2022 but since in February this year.
FIT result was 27 in October 2022 and was referred to colorectal. Had a colonoscopy in December 2022 with biopsies which were all normal.
Since I’ve had quite extreme weight loss (26 kg), increase blood in stools and still abdominal pain and change in bowel habits. Also very tired. My GP wrote to my colorectal consultant and she said I need to have a CT colonoscopy in two weeks time.
Just wondering why if my previous colonoscopy was normal? Does this not mean cancer is ruled out?
