Good morning,, I've just had a telephone consultation, I was told my fit test came back at 200. is this a bad sign ? I have to have a colonoscopy in the next 2 weeks, any advice ? x
i hope this gives you some reassurance, I had a positive FIT test in October of 74. I was referred for a colonoscopy and nothing was found at all, the consultant said I had a lovely healthy bowels!
I get gastritis sometimes and my GP said any blood in the stool was likely from that.

Thank you for your post. I was diagnosed with mild gastritis years ago - I feel like I have it now as I have been having burning pains in my upper stomach just under my ribs - I’ve been blsmibgbitbinbthecstress - but hoping and praying it is something like that that could be causing blood in my stools and a high FIT test but I do have bowel wall thickening as well which is a worry. I guess I’ll find out next week for sure.
