Over the weekend I also notice a lump in the floor of my mouth but can only feel with my tounge or finger cannot be seen.  I cannot work out if it is in the tissue, or on the very bottom of my jaw bone.  No idea what that is...... 

Hi Jess, I had very similar things to you. It’s a long story, and apparently mine are reactive. I had ultrasounds, MRI, blood tests and pushed for a biopsy of my nodes too. I’m happy they are reactive, but as stupid as it sounds I’m really concerned that there might be something sinister going on. Think I have health anxiety! I’m feeling better about the whole situation - but I had such severe panic in the 4 months it took me from appointment to results - so I totally understand your anxiousness!

I hope to god mine are reactive.  I still think I would be the same as you, I would need a reason as to why I think.  I hope you get your answers x 

How did you manage to push them for an MRI or did they recommend it. I feel like i’m also in the same boat where i wouldn’t be happy until i have an MRI and all the tests to make sure it isn’t something more serious

I just have quite bad anxiety and said I wouldn't function without knowing exactly what it is. And that’s why they biopsied - I said I need to know for sure otherwise I will never be able to cope x

ive just found another lymph node right next to my original one and it’s about the same size just right next to it. It’s sent me into a panic all over again. My next GP appointment isn’t until the 4th of April so i’m trying to convince myself to leave it alone but im incredibly concerned now.

I am still non the wiser.  I have got to wait for another urgent referral for an US & biopsy on my right node as the hospital said the location of that one is what they are worried about.  Once US has been done they will then decide whether they need to biospy those or not too.   So yeah, more waiting....

It is the waiting that is the worst isnt it. 

Nope - apprantly they didnt have the facility today to do the US.  I will have another appt within two weeks & at least i know on that one I will have the US and a biopsy on the right lymph node.  They will see if my left ones look sus at the time to see if they need to biopsy those two, but it is my right node he is concerned about because of the location.   It is the side of my neck not on my collarbone, but it is about an inch from the collarbone.  I have a pea sized one next to that.  x
