Hi I have swollen supraclavical nodes on my left side, first noticed in dec, went to doctor , bloods showed no infections. has a US showed a node of 11mm with irregular outline and increased vascularity. to be repated in 8 weeks, he wasnt qualified to do a biopsy so none taken. The 8 week wait is messing with my head. meanwhile 1 lump is now 3 with an additional growth that doesnt feel like a node. I am bricking itbut hopefully only another 3 weeks to go .

Hi MrsLilly I can understand why you’re so frustrated and the wait feels like forever. Would you consider going back to the gp, to show them the new lumps and request a biopsy? Seems a long time to have to wait. Keep us posted and sending positive vibes.

My gp rang me this morning - he assumed I had one lump in my neck and said he thinks they’re just fatty lumps (the one in my armpit and in my neck) but I explained I have matching neck lumps either side, identical. Surely they can’t both be fatty lumps? But strange. Anyway i hope he’s right. Seeing him first thing so he can see them, so will see what he says.

Hi, I haven't had my US yet, it's a 2pm I'll let you both know as soon as I know what's going on, very nervous today!

Hi, I've had it done and it's good news, it's not the big C, she said it didn't light up which is very good news, they are still unsure of what it is but think it could be scar tissue or muscular! 

OMG such good news I am so pleased for you.mine is next Thursday , thats a follow up to one previously 9 weeks ago......so did you not have a biopsy?

She didn't mention a biopsy, she said she's not concerned and doesn't think it's a lymph node, she's looking at it with the consultant later today and sending the report back to my GP and said to contact my gp in two weeks

Well US couln't fine the one which measured 11mm previously , suggesting it has shrunk but there are about 6 smaller ones instead,i can feel them in a cluster.. so now to await the consultants verdict

Sounds like that particular one was playing hide and seek! Hope the consultants analysis doesn’t take too long. How are you feeling? You should hear from the consultant soon I’d have thought. Please let me know how you get on.

My neck scan isn’t until the 11th April so I’ve still a wait. My surpraclavicular nodes have grown and I’ve got a lot of lower back ache (no idea if it’s connected), generally feeling grotty.
