Doctors referral says suspected breast cancer

I posted earlier about concerns around Pagets / breast cancer and am struggling to not panic. I have just opened up my doctors app to check my referral letter has been sent and the GP has put me on the urgent 2WW but has written, “suspected breast cancer.”

Now I’m extremely stressed. In this a normal thing for them to write for the two week wait ?

  • So I posted anonymously on a local woman's community page. I posted about my concerns and a lady who actually runs the clinic reached out. I messaged her and explained my concerns. She was really lovely. She kindly looked at my images from previous scan and basically said she can’t be 100% but she feels reassured by the images I have a fibroadenoma but to possibly expect a biopsy tomorrow as it common practise as I’m 32. I hope it turns out well girls  how is everyone? Xx

    Thank you jolamine. I don’t know why but I can’t stop crying. It’s taking me back to the anxiety of mums biopsy which was horrific whilst we were waiting. I think beside this I’m really mentally unwell at the moment. I keep thinking I’m going to loose everyone around me. Xxx
