I am having a hysteroscopy done tomorrow morning and am terrified of the outcome. A week ago I had an internal ultrasound due to some odd spotting before Christmas. I am perimenopausal so still get periods fairly regularly. The scan picked up a heterogeneous solid lesion on cervix which she said could be a degenerating fibroid or polypoidal mass. She asked at the time if I had ever been told about fibroids which I hadn't. Anyway she wasn't happy about the way it looked so has referred me under the 2 week scheme. Just reaching out to anyone who may have been they something similar.
