You did well to get this checked and I can understand why you are feeling worried especially if the doctor expressed concern about the risk of cancer. You can find information on our website on the biopsy of the womb lining and on the hysteroscopy and you should hopefully get your biopsy results back within the next couple of weeks. It's normal to be worried especially after hearing the word cancer but it might be that the doctor wants to rule this out and there are many other conditions too which could explain symptoms such as endometrial thickness and the ovarian cysts they have found. The wait for results and answers is such an anxious time when time seems to stand still and our mind goes into overdrive. It can be tempting in a situation like this to try and find answers online but keep well away from Google if you can as this will only make you feel more anxious and tends to bring up only the worst and least likely scenario. There are helpful tips on this page to help you cope as you are waiting for important news. 

I hope that you will also hear from other members of our community who have experienced similar symptoms before and who have also needed to have a hysteroscopy.
