Have read the recommended other people's stories, it has however made me worry as to whether a R Hemi should be done like Tommy who had similar experience to me. Is there a  particular criteria for this or Consultants preference?

To be honest I am not sure myself what the criteria might be for this as I sadly don't have the medical expertise but perhaps you could ask your consultant whether this is something that could be an option for you? They will be best placed to advise you as they will know all your medical records and history. You could also give our cancer nurses a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and they may be able to offer you further guidance on this. Sorry I cannot be of more help myself and I hope that you will hear from other members of our community who've been through this before.
