Hi, I am new to the forum, I just wondered if anyone can advise on anxiety levels and tips on how to overcome them, I had covid 3 months ago and have had a cough ever since, I started to cough up some blood a couple of days ago and informed my Dr who has been trying everything to help me get over my cough, I have had 4 lots of antibiotics in 3 months, he has now referred me for an urgent CT scan for suspected lung cancer, am terrified and have of course been googling, any advice on how to cope with the anxiety, my CT scan is tomorrow morning, I had a clear x-ray a month ago but the cough has not improved!

    Hi, I just wanted to update you guys, I thankfully got a call from the Hospital this evening, my CT scan was clear, I cannot say how relieved I am and how worrying it was waiting, although it was such a short amount of time in the end, my hospital certainly pulled out the stops and got me seen and sorted in quick time, thank you for helping me to get through the worry, I have spent all day avoiding google!

    Thank you for the update. I am delighted to hear that  your CT was clear and that you didn’t have long to wait for the results.

    This must be a great relief for you. I hope that your cough disappears soon.
