Hi,
I had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy on Friday with sedation. They asked me if I felt relaxed, I said no so they gave me another dose but I still felt no difference. I felt like I was totally awake during the gastroscopy, feeling like I couldn’t breath and retching badly. Then during the colonoscopy we were discussing what was good on Netflix. Should I have been able to hold a full conversation like this? I also found it very painful in parts. Afterwords I was so happy it was over but the day after kept having flashbacks and can’t stop crying. Is this normal? When I have had sedation before I have felt totally knocked out with no memory and no crying.
