3 weeks ago I started with a random pain in my left lower belly, went to doctors was treated twice for a UTI, ended up in A&E with the pain told probably a ruptured cyst.
I had an ultrasound yesterday & today I was told my results, last thing I expected!
Arising from right adnexa extending into upper abdominal region, is a large 24 x 22 x 10 (cm) complex loculated mass.
Low level ground glass echoes & some internal vascularity noted.
I have an urgent appointment with gynae on 2nd Jan. I’m scared & worried. I’m 30 and a single parent to a 10 year old with a genetic disorder causing disability and andditional needs. I’m scared for her. Of course I don’t know what the mass is yet but you can’t help but think the worse, I’m mad at myself that I ignored symptoms thinking it was food I was eating making me bloated. Doctor said with the size of it, it could have been growing for a long time! The pain I have in my left side is everything being pushed over from the mass.
