Should i cancel my scan?

I found a lump in my armpit. I first noticed it about a month ago and just dismissed it but i checked again last week and it was still there. I have a scan appointment on wednesday but i have noticed the lump has completely disappeared. I feel a bit silly. I dont want to waste peoples time. Should i still go to the appointment now i have no lump?

    I wouldn't. There is no real benefit to cancelling, except that you don't have to travel to the appointment and it could cause you worry, as you might end up worrying "what if there really is something there and I just missed it?" Better to get absolute clarification that all is fine.
