Should i cancel my scan?

I found a lump in my armpit. I first noticed it about a month ago and just dismissed it but i checked again last week and it was still there. I have a scan appointment on wednesday but i have noticed the lump has completely disappeared. I feel a bit silly. I dont want to waste peoples time. Should i still go to the appointment now i have no lump?

    Should never cancel a scan if you found a lump, and went through the whole process of being referred for a scan. Just say you found it again a few days later? Would you still feel silly?

    Just go because there's nothing silly about attending. It will confirm it has went away, or it might still be there in some capacity. Either way, peace of mind is better than fretting all over again should it return.
