Should never cancel a scan if you found a lump, and went through the whole process of being referred for a scan. Just say you found it again a few days later? Would you still feel silly?

Just go because there's nothing silly about attending. It will confirm it has went away, or it might still be there in some capacity. Either way, peace of mind is better than fretting all over again should it return.
