Hi everyone and I hope that you are well :)
I have just had Ultrasounds done on my Pelvis, Bladder etc as I have been having urinary issues and lost a lot of weight over the last 6 months.
In 2018, I was told that I had an ovarian cyst and that it was normal and it has never been checked since.
Today, the chap said that he wasn't sure about it and was going to request urgent bloods for CA125. It is 3cm.
I'm not sure what to think really as everything that I read shows the bloods first and then a scan to follow and I am just trying
to find out the odds of it being normal. He would have known if it was normal, wouldn't he?
Sorry, I'm not stressed as I know Dr Google is never a good idea but I just want to know the reality of the situation really, as the bloods aren't always
a sure fire thing. If the bloods are normal, should I push for it to be removed?
Sorry, I know that there is no way of knowing, just hoping for someone with a similar experience to shed some more on it.
He was very quiet and said he needed to think about what to do, when I tried to ask.
Many thanks :)
