really hope you got through the day ok 

im waiting for urgent referral for bowel and a week seems an eternity - like you, worried sick and swinging wildly across all the emotions …I spoke to my manager and it helped as she is being flexible for me. 

I wanted to avoid work as I can’t seem to think of anything but this, but it helps to have some almost- distraction to focus on, if you can. My GP brother said to try to keep going as normal - the specialists are really good, he says, so try not to overthink. 

have you tried calling one of the nurses on this chat freephone? I haven’t yet but it might help if you don’t feel comfortable talking to friends much.

Thank you for replying. I have also tried to keep going as much as possible at work. I was watching Morning Live and a guy on there had a really complex condition that took a while to diagnose and he said the waiting was definitely the worst part.
