Hi I had a positive fit test last year and was referred on the 2 week wait ,I got an appointment for a colonoscopy within the 2 weeks ,before that I had to go to the hospital to have explained to me what would happen to collect the preparation and a timetable of when to take it and whether I wanted to have sedation ,a few days later at my appointment it was fine I never felt a thing and they told me everything looked fine but that I had Diverticulitis and piles which had caused the elevated fit test ,so I was referred back to my GP .
