CA125 results worry

Hi all…

I’ve been experiencing unexplained fatigue and dizzy spells, along with irregular (and now have seemed to have stopped) periods. I also have slot of bloating and cramps which come and go.

After many blood tests, they checked my CA125 which was at 90.

I am extremely nervous and this wait for the scan feels so overwhelming. 

I’m wondering if anyone else has any experience they can share?

And if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms - particularly periods stopping - and a high CA125.

    I am so sorry to hear you have experienced all these symptoms recently. As you will read on this page, the CA125 "can also be raised for other reasons that are not related to cancer" so hopefully the scan will shed some light on what is going on. Waiting for tests and results can be overwhelming and I thought I would share with you these tips to help you cope during this anxious time. 

    So many members of our forum have posted before to share their concerns about their raised CA125 and they may have also experienced similar symptoms and were also anxious about these results and the further tests or scans that may have been required. I hope that they will pop by shortly and share their experience with you.  It helps to talk to others who have been in a similar place before. 

    Keeping everything crossed for you that you get some clarity soon and it all turns out to be nothing very concerning

    Hi sorry you are going through this. I have had bad pelvic pain since last may left side, and now right. I have tested positive for IBS, but my periods have become irregular and now this month it has not arrived at all! I have had scans found a cyst but the cyst has since gone. I was seen my urgent gynae back in mat last year as a ct scan for suspected kidney stones as I tested positive for blood in urine showed a mass in pelvic left area. But nothing on scan.

    So I am left with questions, why did I have blood in my urine, what was the left sides mass they say on ct that they referred me to gynae for but the gynae couldn't see!  I don't believe the pain I am getting now is just IBS, my ibs is normally loose, I am now constipatied and bloated all the time, pain in my pelvis all the time and lower back. Also pretty sure is does not mess your periods up.

    Anyway I have asked the drs for blood so they are testing the CA125 and others now.

    Oh, also I am exhausted, been having dizzy spells too, headaches
