Hi all, just after some info, feedback, advice. All the normal reasons for being here.
I will give the me basics.
I’m 46, have breast implants (no issues) and nipple piercings (bars if relevant)
Heres the story..
I have recently discovered a hard vein like thread on the underside of breast which I can track through areola to nipple (not at nipple tip but stops behind it). It is palpable and just below the skin surface, I cannot say for sure if it moves. It’s not squishy or round or smooth, it’s long like a vein.
It was discovered when my 11yr old gave me a hug and he bumped it, it felt weird then sore, kind of stung a bit. Naturally I got to google like everyone does.
Initially I suspected hormonal or fibrocystic changes so waited 3 weeks to see if any natural changes that would support my thoughts but it feels too hard for that, so I made a GP apt and got the 2 week referral.
Then I came across Mondors disease. I’m cautiously thinking it could be Mondors but I don’t currently have the redness or red line, nor do I have the indentation, there is no bleeding or oozing of any kind.
so I guess I’m just here to see if anyone else has had something similar and naturally some reassurance with honesty.
