Weird lump in my middle right of my breast. :(

Can I have some advice please? I'm a 15 year old girl and today I found a weird lump on my boobs. Normally I don't really care but this is throwing me off. It's on my lower inner right boob right at the very bottom I'd say East south bit of it and its like a one maybe two centimetre lump that's kind of oval. It's more in the middle actually but heading right. I only noticed it because it was sore and like I've gotten worked up a lil scared now. The skin around it is kinda thicker than other places and like idk really. It's just I'm so young and it's in a weird *** spot so would I like maybe have cancer? Should I check it out?

Just want some tips please.

  • Hi there,

Definitely get this checked out by your GP, as others have said on this thread at your age it’s unlikely to be anything serious. I had a breast lump form just before I turned 21 and I recently had it checked out and it turned out to be a fibroadenoma which is a benign and common cause of a breast lump for people aged 14-35 and a lot of lumps in younger women tend to be either cysts, fibroadenomas or due hormone changes but they’re always worth getting checked to be on the safe side.

Hope your appointment goes well xx
