I am sorry to hear about this lump. Not all lumps are cancerous. Many turn out to be cysts, or due to fibrous or hormonal changes. We are always advised to get any changes to our breasts checked out. While it is most unlikely to be cancer at your age, you should get it seen to for your own peace of mind. Have you shown this to your mum? It would be a good idea to make an appointment with your GP and see what s/he thinks.

Hello Banana, glad you are getting it looked at .It’s probably nothing to worry about ,at your age hormonal changes sometimes make the breast feel quite lumpy too . But any changes should be checked for your peace of mind . Keep in touch xx

Definitely get this checked out by your GP, as others have said on this thread at your age it’s unlikely to be anything serious. I had a breast lump form just before I turned 21 and I recently had it checked out and it turned out to be a fibroadenoma which is a benign and common cause of a breast lump for people aged 14-35 and a lot of lumps in younger women tend to be either cysts, fibroadenomas or due hormone changes but they’re always worth getting checked to be on the safe side.
