I don’t know if this is any help sunsetDawn, my husband had a blood test, low iron was found and anemia so a FIT test was done, came back at 63 that’s still not very high but obviously had to have a colonoscopy as it above 10, (and he’s 80 year old) he had that yesterday, 6 polyps was found and took off, they said they all look fine even the 18mm one. Obviously gets sent for biopsy. Hope this helps a bit xx

I’m not so sure SunsetDawn it may depend on your age! bit according to NICE guidelines it should be anything over 10. I hope someone else can help you and it’s not long till Thursday where you can ask these questions if you’re not told first. Come back and let us know how you get on and good luck xx
