I am in a similar situation. A mass in my uterus was found on ultrasound, a follow up ultrasound was unclear. I had an MRI which failed to confirm the mass was a fibroid, I was discussed at an oncology MDT meeting this Monday and today was send for a CT scan. I am scared to death. I keep saying chances it is the C word are unlikely however surely if it was a simple fibroid 3 scans plus and mri with contrast would have been clear by now. 

Also ring the secretary of you are worried. I always chase people as I can’t cope with the worry. Iv come out in a rash and not sleeping I’m so worried

Not exactly the same but I have been in a similar sort of situation recently. I was referred on 2ww for an ovarian cyst, and after the first appointment sent for an MRI - I was told the results would come through the post. Then I got a text with a gynaecology oncology appointment for the following week. Like you, I was really worried. Having had that appointment though, I think it is technically labelled as that while you are in the 2ww system. In my case the MRI showed some features that may be cancer but also some that were more indicative of benign, so I think you keep the label until they can give a definitive no, if that makes sense? Doesn't help the waiting I'm sure. Take care x

I'm waiting for surgery to remove the cyst (and probably the ovary and tube too) in the next couple of weeks x 

Hi Jazzybellex - sorry to hear you are in this situation. It’s crap for you having to go back and forward and not get any answers. I think it’s the waiting and the not knowing that are the scariest part (maybe). I am still torn between thinking it’s nothing and thinking it’s  the worst. I’m hoping to get a letter in the next couple of days actually saying what my appointment is for. My gut feeling is that it’s either something bad showed on my ct scan or they’re not sure which is why I have an appointment relatively quickly - but who knows! I’m not sleeping well either - it’s really rubbish and I do feel for you x

Yes, that does make sense -  I’m sure they have to treat it all as urgent until they definitely know what they’re looking at. I shall try to worry less - maybe!! Good luck with your surgery and thanks for replying x
