I’ve just arrived at work but have good news- clear margins, a tiny bit of cancer in one of three lymph nodes, but NO CHEMO!! I’m so relieved! Letrozole once the results of a blood test come through, and I’ve basically been discharged!!

Well been to hospital for results from surgery.  Clear margins in breast but 1 node positive , so they now checking to see how aggressive it is then will decide if I need chemo first or radio in breast and armpit.  Been given tamoxifen.   Also said the lump was 17mm not 22mm as they thought.  So a bit of good news.   C

good news and bad got you lovely I had a trace  in one node , I after finding this out opted and nagged for removal of all nodes in left arm with a second operation I found that by removing all lymph nodes if it had soread through that they would be gone and destroyed it’s not a easy decision but I begged for it I’m still very happy now that I had it .

Hi Lara , they automatically tested for this and it’s good news. Scored 15 so don’t need to go through chemo. So 5 days of radiotherapy is all that is required.  Xx

I had 5 days of radio too then straight on to tamoxifen xx 

the day I found out no chemo I cried my eyes out and had a massive party xx. 

I am sooo happy.  I will be celebrating too this weekend.   How did the 5 day radio affect you? X

radio was fine a few tired spells but worked right through funny taste in mouth after a few days but wasn’t bad I absolutely covered myself in cream cream cream like I mean smothered as I didn’t have any trouble then , you ate at finish line now I’m so happy when will it start ? X 

My left.  I will get plenty of cream stocked up.   I haven’t getting a date yet.  Have to wait to hear from another hospital as the one I have been going to, don’t do radiotherapy.  If they go by the 6 weeks after surgery , it will either be the week before Xmas or week after x  

Same I had it on the left you have to do the breathing it’s hard to do I had a meltdown and they changed it so I didn’t have to do the breathing you have to hold your breath , so if you find it hard just tell them and they will do it a easy way xx
