I’ve just arrived at work but have good news- clear margins, a tiny bit of cancer in one of three lymph nodes, but NO CHEMO!! I’m so relieved! Letrozole once the results of a blood test come through, and I’ve basically been discharged!!

This is fantastic news. I'm so relieved for you that there's no chemo needed. I'm surprised that they're not doing anything further about your lymph nodes - did you discuss this? A great reason for you to open that wine, as Lara has suggested - enjoy!

Yes, we discussed the lymph nodes. The surgeon took 3, and only the one closest to the breast showed any cancer, and it was less than 2mm. At 2mm they take more lymph nodes, but she felt it wasn’t necessary. I’m happy to go with that having heard her explanation.
