Lumpectomy

Hi.  2 months ago I noticed a dent in my left breast.  Went to doctors 21st Aug and was given 2 week urgent referral.  Attended breast clinic on 5th sept and had scans and biopsy on the lump.  Doctor advised that it is a 2cm lump and that I will be going for surgery.   Have appointment on 19th to go through biopsy results and that will confirm if I require further treatment.    Does anyone know how long after biospy results that you go for surgery?

    I had my results 11th August and my surgery is on the 29th September. I had to have mri and Ct to see if spread first then an appointment about surgery. Iv hated waiting these last 4 weeks. Want it done with xx

    Thanks for the replies.  I’m going to let my son know tomorrow when he comes home for the weekend , and then let my parents know. Not looking forward to that chat.  I had my MRI today, so hopefully the receptor results come back soon and then I can finally go ahead with whatever they have planned for me .

    Kirsty I hate waiting and also want things done as quick as possible .  I am hoping it’s within the next week or 2,  they have been pretty quick at getting things done so far Xx
