Hi, I’m 38 and I have similar, I found an irregular lump, wired 4 weeks to see if went but it never, went to my GP and she also found it straight away, I don’t have any burning sensation but if I clench my fist or put my arm above my head that area of my breast dimples inwards. Just waiting for my referral to come through, if I don’t hear anything by tomorrow I’ve to ring them.

What did your GP say about this and has s/he referred you to the breast clinic? You have done the right thing by getting this investigated. This could well be a cyst or inflammation of some kind.

I went to the doctor's on Monday because I found a small hard lump on my left breast. He also referred me to the breast clinic. I'm 40 years old. 

I forgot to say. I don't have a burning sensation or dimples. But the lump doesn't move and it feel like something is pulling my armpit if I lift my arm. 

Does that make sense?

Thanks everyone for your replies really appreciated. The Gp just said she could feel the lump/ thickening as well and she would put through an urgent referral. Hope you are all okay, your mind goes into over drive. I’ve had stage 1 melanoma 9 years ago as well, so wondering is it linked to that. I guess will just have to wait for the appointment and try to keep busy xx

Hi, glad you e seen your GP and are getting referred, I’ve now got my appointment on Wednesday, only a week after my GP appointment, I’m glad I’ve got it so quick but it’s also making me wonder if there’s a reason, I will let you all know how I get on xx
