Struggling to cope

I was referred to 2ww on 25th June re enemetrial cancer.

I'm still waiting for an appointment and am finding it harder and harder to cope.

The clinic told me they have no appointments and no gynaecologists. The wait could be up to 20 weeks.

I complained to  pals who were apologetic but couldn't help.

I've complained to icb and am waiting a response.

Yesterday I wrote to my mp who has contacted the hospital for advice.

I had a blood test follow up call from my gp this morning. My white cell count is high and has been going up since May. They have now told me they can't investigate it until I've attended the 2ww clinic.

My hands ate tied everywhere I turn. It's my sons wedding in a few days and I have no idea how I will keep this from everyone and hold it together.

    Have they not given you a choice of hospitals to attend? Can you ask to be seen at another hospital? When I needed a urology appointment I ended up going to a hospital which is over an hour drive away but it was the quickest one I could be seen at

    No - despite me asking multiple times. I've told them I'll drive but they said its dependent on where you live. I've seem the guidelines that say if they can't see me in 2 weeks the icb can refer me somewhere that can. So I've raised that with them and am waiting a reply. When I went on the e referral system there was just one hospital to choose from.
