Hi I have been referred by my gp on the 2ww pathway. I have post menopausal bleeding which has been daily for the last 6 weeks. I have pelvic pain/cramps back pain and bloating and am now taking painkillers every day (something I hate) 

I rang the hospital climic as my referral was overdue and have been told the wait is up to 20 weeks. They seemed so unconcerned.

I am going out of my mind. I've tried my gp and tonight have emailed PALS. No-one seems able to help. 

How can this be ok? I know there may be other reasons but I can't stop worrying and feeling like I'm dying while I wait for a diagnosis.

Any ideas on what I can do please? I don't have much money but am seriously considering going into debt for a private referral .
