The blood tests they did involved a CA125 test which is for suspected Ovarian cancer and mine was elevated hence the hysteroscopy .

Oh ok. My GP did mention my bloods were also checking ovarian cancer. I'm literally so scared x

Hi, just thought I would update you and anyone else who happens to come across this thread.

My bloods and fit all back normal, so not bowel cancer. The huge relief when she told me was immense! Sue to my family history, she advised to send off a genetics form and of the hospital think I need additional tests, they will contact me. 
She said I was diagnosed with ibs in 2018, which I do not remember at all lol. And she said it’s probably that. Had no weight loss, no loss of appetite and no visible blood in stool ( just the positive fob test I bought online, which she advised not to do as they are not accurate and believe me, I won’t do that again!)

If anyone finds themselves here, I am sorry and I know how you must be feeling. If anyone wants to ask me anything, please feel free. I’m no expert obviously but can talk about my own sumo and experience if it helps.

So pleased for you, I am in the same situation, waiting for test results.....it's a horrible wait!!

I have had a colonoscopy with 8 biopsies taken, the report said there was an unusual 'puckered' area.  Then yesterday I had a CT scan.  Unfortunately Dr Google has not helped - I know I shouldn't look up possible outcomes but I can't seem to help it.  I have had breast cancer and now worry it's come back elsewhere.

Have they said when you will get the results? I’m so sorry to hear this. I was Googling too, and yes, it isn’t the best thing to do, but we all do it. I can’t help it either.

I have my fingers crossed for you. Did you have symptoms which prompted the colonoscopy? X

I had bloating and loose stools, hence why I initially thought of ovarian cancer.  They said it can take 12 weeks for the results, such a long wait!

12 weeks! Wow! I hope you get your answers sooner than that. Keep me updated if you can. Thinking of you x
