Hi all, I found a lump in my left breast last week. I am 36f and this is the first lump I have found. I have found this forum so helpful, so decided to join. The doc said she didn't think it was a sinister lump, and she said if she thought it was, she would say and I believe her. I think based on symptoms it is either fibrocystic or fibroadenoma. At first, I thought the pain was actually a muscle strain, but then it was worse after I was in a car accident in January. When I went to the doc, she is the one who found the lump. It seems like it moves and it gets really quite sore, particularly towards the end of the day. I have also started getting pins and needles in my left arm.
My appointment came round so fast, and I am so grateful. But naturally, I am now starting to worry and panic, but I guess this is normal and expected. I am not sure what I am wanting from posting this, perhaps just to let it all out? I haven't told my Mum yet until we know it is going on as she doesn't need the added worry - she was burgled last week and my Dad passed away just 6 months ago.
I have made a note of any family history, and all symptoms in case I forget any. Thanks for reading, I would love to hear from anyone who has been in a similar position.
