I never thought I'd be positing in here yet here we are. I have had slight dimpling under my right breast for a few months but as my breasts have changed a lot in size naturally over the last 2 years, I brushed it off. However, my husband noticed it as well this week and urged me to get it checked. I saw the GP today but I was very relaxed about the appointment as I was sure it was nothing. However, to my shock the GP actually found a lump and has put me in for an urgent 2 week referral to the breast clinic and told me that if I don't receive an appointment within 2 weeks, to let her know as they may try to downgrade the referral due to my age and she will push for me to be seen if this is the case.
I have been a bit wobbly today, as this was a complete shock and The Gp seemed concerned. I was actually worrying that the dimpling was so shallow, that the GP wouldn't have even been able to see it but she noticed it straight away.
I guess I'm asking if anyone has had anything similar and whether it can be caused by something not serious? I did the bad thing of going straight to Google and now I'm worried. It just doesn't seem real. There is also family history of breast cancer :(
