Hi everyone, I am really worried about my symptoms. I have lower left pain in my abdomen, for a few weeks now, comes and goes, feel pretty terrible at night , gassy and uncomfortable. I had FIT done witch was negative, abdomen and trans scan, both ok, blood tests ok, but calprotectin level at 87. Also confirmed helicobactor diagnosis. My worry is since having all there tests done and higher calprotectin my bowels have got worst, I am checking my symptoms all the time and every day I seem to get a new one. I can hardly sleep at night and get gassy as soon as I swallow my food. Would aprcieatw if anyone could give me some advice or had similar symptoms . 

Hi I had similar symptoms last year all of a sudden I had very loose stools /Diarrhea whenever I ate something it went straight through it was horrendous and it lasted for at least 3 weeks I kept thinking it will stop as I didn't want to go to Docs but it didn't stop ,in the end I went had blood tests and fit test all abnormal so had a colonoscopy 2 weeks later all they found was Diverticulitis a Polyp and hemoroids but nothing nasty so I would say its possibly more likely to be something else other than something serious .

So scared of the test results that it's good to hear someone have not very good results but all ok at the end. Did you suffer with huge amounts of gas? I'm constantly uncomfortable. Zero sleep last night. How are you now? X

Apologies Bubbles to jump on your post , I am new to this. I also suffer with large amounts of gas at night, so hopefully someone will be able to help with similar symptoms x 

I only started it recently, since you have to take 2 lots of antibiotics I was worried I was going to be sick while at work. I feel worse now then before I started the tests process, anxiety through the roof new symptoms etc.. not had a good night for ages, just gassy and in pain in lower left abdomen on and  off . Feels like being stuck in limbo at the moment, hope you are coping better Bubbles x

I really hope the meds start working Ana, it's so stressful and I like you am not getting any sleep. I wonder if anxiety is making it worse for us both 

I have always been extremely anxious person, so I do hope thats the case in some way. X
