Update- being referred to ENT and having chest xray. Scared!

Hello, have you managed to go to the ENT and did you get the x-ray? Your exact symptoms are happening to me and I'm 20 years old, I'm very worried

Hi I have not had the ENT appointment yet as I caught scarlet fever on top of a severe throat infection taking antibiotics currently!.Though my chest xray was clear. Doctors said antibiotics GP originally gave me weren't strong enough so I would urge you to get checked out but hopefully its treatable like me .

Waiting for ENT appointment when not urgent referral is agonising! Now have a tender neck and swollen lymph node in one side as well as enlarged tonsil that won't go down. Wonder how people cope!
