Hi, I found a lump just above my nipple on my right breast. Went to GP and was sent to breast clinic on 2 week urgent list, had the appointment on Tuesday. At the appointment when the nurse done the examination she told me it was nothing and that I could have my ultrasound then go home however whilst getting the ultrasound the tech said he had to do a biopsy because of what he was seeing (never explained anything further) I was then biopsied and sat in a private room where the doctor explained that the biopsy would tell me if it was cancer or a fibroademna... she said she was sure it was just a fibroademna but had to do the biopsy because of what the ultrasound showed. I get my results on Thursday and I'm extremely anxious about the results. I'm convinced it is cancer... firstly being put on the 2 week list, the way they spoke to me in the clinic, how gently they were putting me in the private room etc. and I also have a few other symptoms such as fatigue, exhaustion, migraines and sudden weight loss. I just feel so overwhelmed and anxious
has anyone else had a similar experience? Or what would you be thinking in my position thank you!
