My colonoscopy was uncomfortable and showed unexpected complex ovarian cysts maybe you have adhesions everything was stuck together from previous surgery and took 4 1/2 hours to remove. I had pain for years but it was never investigated just put down to irritable bowel! I had the usual keep taking the pills

I had one in September I had sedation and never felt a thing ,although I was wide awake it seemed like it was over in minutes .

I had a CT colonoscopy today and found it more painful than a traditional colonoscopy! I’m also curious as to why I found it so painful as it isn’t meant to be. Did you have any ‘problems’ in terms of your results/diagnosis from the scan? I’m worried the pain indicates something is wrong.
