I'm sorry to read that after the findings of your ultrasound scan your two-week referral got pushed another two weeks. These things can feel like a lifetime, and it is normal to feel stressed and anxious. Many on this forum understand only too well how you are feeling as they have also had to experience what feels like an endless wait. Thank you. Following chase up by GP surgery I now have an appointment for early next week. The hospital has put on an extra day of clinic. So at least I should have a better idea by next week. 
Seems like12 day fast track guarantee is another Tory myth. I feel very sad for those being told they will have a 4 week or 6 week wait for treatment locally.

Hi, this is exactly what has happened to me, went for an ultrasound which they thought was a hernia but came back a highly suspicious mass...did you find out what it was?

I have now got a diagnosis but it took a long time. I have just been referred on to The Christie. What looked like masses were pools of ascities so my diagnosis may well not be the same as yours. 
Now I am further down the pathway I have had to learn to be patient. The more information available before treatment the better targeted it can be.
Have faith in your team. Once I had seen the gynae team they made sure I had all the non invasive testing first and some targeted biopsies to get the right diagnosis. The hospital team have been very kind and kept me fully informed throughout the process and I am sure yours will be the same.
Good luck and try to do plenty of fun things while you wait for the diagnosis it helps to reduce the worrying.
