Hello,
I noticed a lump on the roof of my mouth between my molars around 5-6 months ago. Thought nothing of it. It doesn't hurt and it's normal skin tone in colour it's also smooth and hard. I went to see my dentist in July didn't mention it because I thought he would of seen it... I saw max fax in August as I found a lump on my jaw (swollen lymph node after 3 ultra sound scans) he thought it was reactive because of my impacted wisdom teeth... I mentioned lump on the roof of my mouth which you can't see but can feel to which he said nothing to worry about and its normal.
About 3 week ago I started to get an itchy throat and redness ect I got put on a two week course of flucanazole which appeared to have helped but after the course finnished last week my symptoms came back. I've had another scan on my jaw which has shown no changes and nothing else is going on in my neck.
But now I've been reading up on things so my anxiety is through the roof. I returned back to my dentist today to get the lump on the roof of my mouth looked at... It hasn't changed in size or anything there appears to be no inflamation no bleeding and no soreness. He's referring me to max fax again on a 2 week pathway but said this is the quickest way to get you seen otherwise you'll be waiting months and my head has just gone into tumoil iv been reading and reading and reading! And iv convinced myself it is some sort of carcinoma and questioning myself why didn't my push for it to be looked at more in August!
I'm 29 a non smoker and rarely drink alcohol.
