Hi

My mam is in recovery for hpv pos throat cancer for 2 years now. She has been doing so well and back go her old self. However the last 8 weeks or so she has a hard lump on her shoulder/collarbone and mentioned it during her most recent check up. They did cam test and all looked clear but she is being sent for pet scan in 3 weeks for this. We are worried sick  has anyone any idea what it could be or should I prepare for the worst I am so depressed thinking the worst and that it has come back and gone to her bones I read that hpv has a great recovery rate and can't seem to find much about likelihood of it spreading to bone but I don't know what to think 

Any advice appreciated
