Asbestos exposure
Hi - last week builder in my home ripped up floor tiles even though I asked he left them alone.
There were 2 layers of tiles - the top layer tested negative the bottom layer postive for asbestos.
I walked into the house as he was ripping up the tiles. It took 2 days to get the results and during that time - dust etc would have been tracked through the house.
I'm struggling to deal with my frustration with the builder - we have more work to be completed, exposure risk but also contamination concerns - clothes, car, rest of house - and risk to girlfriend, dog and me.
The remaining tiles also need to be safely removed or encapsulated.
Any advise on how to deal with frustration, put the risk into some perspective and to get back to normal as soon as possible appreciated. Worry and stress very high at the moment. Thanks
