I am 32 with 3 small children (7, 5 and 7 months). I have a large lump in my left groin. Went to GP wed and now awaiting urgent referral for an ultrasound. 

I'm a nurse and looked after probably hundreds of cancer patients. My mind is running away with me and a little knowledge is a bad thing. I had a rubbish pregnancy and was very ill for a lot of it, now this. 

There's a good chance this is all ok but I just want to write and get it all out. I'm tired, I'm scared. My husband is very much of the "no point in worrying until we know if there is something to worry about" which I totally get but my healthcare background is playing tricks on me. 

No point to the post, just to go "blah" and get it all out. Thanks for reading ‍♀️
