Hi All,
A week ago last Friday I did a boob check as I do pretty regularly and was shocked to discover a golf ball sized lump deep in my boob. I'm so confused and annoyed with myself how I could have missed this in the past. My mind is playing tricks on whether I did miss this or if it suddenly appeared. I'm in good health, dare I say even dodged blooming covid so far and aged 42.
I got a doctors appointment the same day and then she said 'I can't reassured you what the lump is' then arranged for a mammogram etc tomorrow. Naturally I'm nervous and I guess what will be will be. I can't take my husband with me to the appointment as it's the final week of holidays with my son so I will be going alone which I'm ok with.
Just wanted to double check if I will likely get an indication tomorrow on what the lump could be or if I will need to wait for any biopsy results etc?
I'm thinking based on the size of the lump the outcome is inevitable but trying to prepare myself for best and worse case scenarios.
