Hi Jlou, there is absolutely no harm in asking a gp to have a look at it, you would not be wasting their  time because that is what ou GP's are there for. They will either put your mind at rest or refer you to a dermatologist.

Hi Hassledmum! Thank you for your reply, I have such bad anxiety and one of my biggest fears is dying and leaving my kids without their mum I'm going to book an appointment with the doctor and get it checked just to be on the safe side Will keep you updated ️

I understand what it's like to worry when you have small kids, mine are grown up now and I still worry. health anxiety is a normal fear of the unknown so when you see your doctor some or all of your anxiety will be lifted.
